The Sustainable Technology certification confirms that a given technology has been assessed for its environmental, social and systemic impact and demonstrates measurable potential to support long-term responsible development.
In the context of accelerating energy transition, climate change and growing resource constraints, technology is not neutral. It can either intensify global challenges — or contribute to solving them.
LIBRE certification is not an award for innovation alone. It is a structured verification of impact, scalability and responsibility.
A Sustainable Technology is a solution that:
The certification evaluates not only technical parameters, but also implementation feasibility, replicability and real-world application potential.
The technology is assessed in three core areas:
# Sustainability
Evaluation of environmental and social impact potential, including:
# Availability
Assessment of technological accessibility, implementation readiness, clarity of documentation and potential for market deployment.
# Innovation
Evaluation of technological originality, patent protection, global uniqueness and scientific contribution.
Final results are expressed in performance classes (A+–E) based on measurable criteria.
Technology assessment may be conducted directly by LIBRE Foundation based on technical documentation, operational data and available research results.
Certified technology owners may apply for publication and international promotion through LIBRE channels. Articles must be prepared in English and submitted by the technology owner.

This is not a “green tech” label.
It is verified transformation potential.
