LIBRE Certification System

Credibility through verification

At the LIBRE Foundation, certification is not just a marketing sign or an image-building tool. It is an act of responsibility – a confirmation that the declared actions have been thoroughly analysed, verified and evaluated according to clearly defined criteria. We believe that truth requires verifiability, and trust cannot be based solely on declarations. Therefore, LIBRE certification is always preceded by an analysis, audit and assessment of the real impact, both environmental, social and organizational.

Certification as a responsibility

Our approach to certification stems from the belief that a person bears moral responsibility for his decisions and their consequences – towards other people, society and the world entrusted to him. Certification is not a reward or an end in itself. It is a commitment to maintain certain standards over time, to constantly improve indicators and to face reality honestly, even when the results are not perfect.

Scope of certification and competences of the future

We offer:

  • individual certificates – for specialists, confirming competence, experience and professional reliability in the area of sustainable development, ESG, energy and responsible management,
  • certificates for organizations and facilities – assessing the method of management, environmental and social impact, efficiency of resource use and organizational governance,
  • Non-profit and social certificates – awarded for real and lasting contribution to social development, education, culture and the common good.

Each of these areas is subject to a distinct but consistent verification methodology, based on analysis, audit and measurable criteria.

A new profession. Sustainability Specialist

The LIBRE Foundation, through a system of certification and education, actively builds the competencies of the future and responds to the real gap in the labor market, creating and professionalizing the profession of a sustainability specialist.

It is a role that combines:

  • technical and environmental knowledge,
  • managerial and analytical competencies,
  • understanding social and ethical aspects,
  • ability to make decisions in the long term.

This specialist does not perform an advisory function based on declarations, but acts as a responsible management practitioner, supporting organizations in the real implementation of sustainable development and ESG principles.

Education as the foundation of certification

The LIBRE individual certification is linked to a comprehensive training program that prepares you to practice this profession in a reliable and responsible manner.

The program is already used by:

  • universities, including it in the didactic offer,
  • companies preparing their own specialists and managers,
  • public and budgetary sector units, responsible for the implementation of long-term policies and strategies.

The LIBRE certificate confirms not only the completion of the training, but also real competence, professional maturity and readiness to take responsibility.

Verification and transparency

Each LIBRE Certificate:

  • is publicly verifiable online,
  • is based on documented data and audit,
  • has a specific scope, validity period and criteria,
  • can be revoked in the event of violations or loss of credibility.

This approach protects both the recipients of the certification and the individuals and organizations that honestly work for their reputation.

Opposition to greenwashing

LIBRE certification is a clear opposition to greenwashing, superficial declarations and apparent liability. We believe that untruth and dishonesty destroy public trust and lead to damage far greater than short-term benefits in the long run.

Trust as the Fruit of Truth

Trust is not born from marketing messages, but from truth, consistency and transparency. Therefore, LIBRE certification serves not only to assess compliance with the criteria, but also to build a culture of responsibility and reliability.

Trust is built through verification.
